Have an idea for a fly-out, let us know.
Saturday, April 8, 2017 Fly-out to Bucyrus, Ohio.
Fly-out to Bucyrus was a great success!
It was a great day for flying. Three planes flew SW over the flatland of western Ohio to the “Bratwurst Capital of Ohio” Bucyrus (17G). There we were met by Kevin DeTray the airport manager. What a friendly wonderful person. Our mission was to head to Carle’s restaurant 2 miles north in town. He loaned us his courtesy car and off we went. Carle’s is a great place – combination restaurant and food store. Check out their website carlesbrats.com. We had a great lunch and then packed our coolers with brats to bring home. A good time was had by all. I personally look forward to doing this again.
This Saturday, February 18th, 2017 let’s fly to KFKL or KTSO and get some grub!
The Wx looks great this weekend. Let’s plan to fly to Franklin, PA or Carrolton, OH to get some lunch. So far I believe we have four planes, possibly five, interested in going. Let’s meet at the FBO at KLPR at 10:30AM then plan to depart by 11:00AM.
We had a great time. 6 planes and 13 folks. Looking forward to our next fly-out.
